Topics: usage (how to ...)

Hi, just started using the library which works great. I am trying to get the library to walk a hosts entire MIB, I have tried using the start OID of 1, 3, 6, 1, 2, 1 but it stops after the first set, is there any way to force it to walk the entire MIB?

Thanks

Hi, it is possible. My original design on Manager.Walk can walk the entire MIB. I disabled this feature later.

Open Manager.cs and comment out these lines
                if (!seed.Id.ToString().StartsWith(table + ".1.", StringComparison.Ordinal))
{
// not in sub tree

break;
}
in Walk method. Then you can test if TestWalk project gives you the result you want.

Hope this help.

Hi, latest news!

In Change Set 14795 I have updated Manager.Walk to support two walk modes. Take a look at the TestWalk sample inside, and you can see the differences.
